Halla Tomasdottir runs an investment fund with her partner Kristin Petursdottir called Auður Capital, named after Viking woman Audur the wise. That investment fund is driven by women only and has survived the economic turmoil in Iceland impressively well. Before the collapse she was the head of the Chamber of commerce in Iceland.
In her talk on TED she talks about the 5 feminine values they follow in their investment management at Audur Capital: independence, risk awareness, straight talk, emotional capital and profit with principles. Among the things they've done is setting up a green-tech investment fund with singer and pop-icon Björk.
